Welcome to SouthwestSeafishing.co.uk
ImageSo, what’s all this about? Well, the Southwest Sea fishing website was born out of sheer frustration – a frustration at having to waste VFT (Valuable Fishing Time) searching high and low on the internet for tasty sea fishing snippets that focus on Sea Fishing in Devon and Cornwall.

Sure, you can find a few sea fishing tips here and some shore fishing reports there – but wouldn’t it be great to have it all under one roof? Well, I thought it would, anyway. So much so that I’m going to invest an unhealthy amount of time building a resource that I hope will ensure better sea fishing sessions for all in the future.

Now, this site is a work in progress (I maintain that every man needs a good bottomless pit of a project to sink his teeth into), but will hopefully take shape over the summer months - particularly on rainy days.

As thoughts come to me I’ll share them here, along with reports from my latest fishing sessions, all discoveries (apart from where to find peeler crabs in Devon and Cornwall ;-) ), fieldnotes on sea fishing marks in Devon and Cornwall, tasty southwest fish recipes and all that kind of stuff. In short, be sure to check back regularly as this site is alive and kicking and growing all the time (apart from when the weather is good enough to get out and actually do some fishing).

Anyhow, have a look around and if you want to add anything then feel free to comment as you see fit.

Tight lines. Nath.
