In addition to the now established maps, charts, guides and tips etc, I’d like to introduce the 2 latest (and magnificently interactive) additions to the site: OUR NEW SOUTH WEST SEA ANGLING COMMUNITY AND FORUM!! Click here to read more!

With good tides and such promising weather, things we're looking up. As it panned out, however, it proved to be an evening of mixed fortunes.

Bass fishing in North DevonFISHING REPORT: SWSF North Devon Get Together

By anyone’s standards, our recent night session in North Devon proved to be a rip roaring success. The fishing was superb, the weather was excellent and, most importantly, it marked the first session where a group of anglers who’ve joined our SWSF network have proposed a mark, met there, shared their knowledge on it and subsequently fished it together.

My thanks go to Jay, Ben, Gary and Ivan for all making the evening a complete success.  With such good company and great fishing, I can’t wait to head out on the next trip.

If you are planning a trip to your favourite mark and want a few other likeminded fishing nuts to come along and share the fun, or fancy going along with others and learning more about marks that you wouldn’t normally visit,  then drop by the Fishing Buddies section of our Forum and see what’s going on.
